Archive of Dinosaur News April-June 2004This is the Dinosaur news archive for April through June 2004. These are the stories and website updates we reported for that time period.6-15-2004 A Pterosaur embryo was found in China, providing proof that Pterosaurs laid eggs. Read more about this discovery in this article on nature.com. 6-04-2004 The Dinosaur Time machine was accepted as a WiredKids Safe Site. Wired Kids is an organization dedicated to keeping the internet safe for kids. 5-24-2004 We added dinosaur coloring pages to our web site. My two oldest sons helped with editing these, by connecting some of the lines on the drawings. 5-19-2004 T-REX Bones were auctioned off the other day as a result of a court order to settle an ownership dispute. The T-Rex bones did not turn out to sell for nearly as much as was expected. They expected to get between 400,000 and 900,000 dollars, but only got 93,250 dollars for the bones. 5-18-2004 Matthew just added a dinosaur fact for the T-REX. 5-14-2004 This is the first entry for our news page. The other day my wife's friend sent us a link to this really cool dinosaur site. It is called Unearthing T. rex. Unearthing T. rex is the world's first interactive Tyrannosaurus rex dig. The dig started May 10 of this year. They have a daily journal with facts and updates from the dinosaur dig. They also have great information on the T-REX. You can ask the paleontologists questions, and participate on their forum. It looks like something fun to follow especially for children who want to be paleontologists, like the two of my sons Matthew and Adam. Back to Dinosaur News |
