Click here to read more... 5-8-2005 I just came across this rather interesting dionsaur store called, Dinosaurs from How to Get a Head Without Hunting. It sells replicas of dionsaurs heads. It makes a pretty creative gift. 4-19-2005 Scientist found a new dinosuar species related to the T-REX. They found the new dinosaur species in Montgomery County, Alabama, and southwestern Georgia. The new species is named Appalachiosaurus montgomeriensis, which means "the Appalachian lizard from Montgomery County." Read more about this discovery. 3-27-2005 A construction crew in Washington found what appears to be mammoth bones. Read more on Yahoo news. 3-18-2005 A frozen mammoth was unveiled in central Japan ahead of Expo 2005. It is pretty cool, check out the pictures (you can even see some of it's wooly hair). Read more on Yahoo. 1-31-2005 South Dakota is planning on making the T-Rex it's official State Dinosaur. South Dakota already has an official state fossil (the triceratops), however it does not have an official state dinosaur. Read more about it in the news. 11-30-2004 I found this really good dinsoaur news website that I wanted to recommend for those looking for dino news that is updated on a weekly basis. Check it out at: http://www.dinosaurnews.org/. 10-25-2004 This weekend we went to San Antonio and took pictures of a replica of Sue the T.REX at the Institute of Texan Cultures. We just updated our website with the pictures of Sue the T-Rex on our facts page. Also, Dinosaur George was at the museum and we got a chance to meet him. Also, Matthew got to ask him some questions. Which was very cool! 10-12-2004 More than 580 dinosaur footprints were found in Switzerland yesterday.
