I came across this really wonderful site, that I had to tell you about. It's a site where they send coloring pages to terminally ill children while they stay in hospitals. Check out the site www.pagesforchildren.com.

For all you kids who want to be fossil hunters, there was a teenager on a fossil hunt who found a very rare fossil. A teenager unearthed a Valdosaurus thigh bone fossil.

Scientist did a CT scan of dinosaur bones that could help them discover whether the Tyrannosaurus rex hunted live prey or whether T. Rex was only a scavenger. The scientists think the bones belonged to a hadrosaurus and that a T. Rex bit it and the hadrosaurus survived. Read more about the ct scan in this newsday article.

Even though this has nothing to do with dinosaurs, I thought that I would let you know that for fun I decided to start this blog called "If I were President". I plan on keeping the contet amusing and very kid safe (G Rated).

We just added some dinosaur fossil picturs to our dinosaur facts page. We plan on continuing to add fossil pictures in the future. I think the picture that came out the best was the Diplodocus picture.

Scientists who are studying the bones of T-rex believe that they have made a new discovery about it's growth rate. Apparently the T-rex had a major growth spurt during it's teenage years. You can read more about it in this Houston Chronicle article.

Big news today! Scientist in Madrid x-rayed the brain of an archaeopteryx, and believe that evidence from the x-rays show that the archaeopteryx could fly. Read more about it in this article on the Guardian.
